There are many prayers recorded in the Bible. Included among them is the prayer of a man named Jabez. He prayed for God to bless him, enlarge his border, and keep him from harm. God invites us to pray like Jabez. In the name of Jesus, we can pray for God’s blessing and for God to expand our witness. We can ask God to keep us from harm, and even if harm should come, God will be with us.
